How it works

Three steps from the sprint board to your working copy.

Connect your Jira Cloud site

Add your site, Atlassian email, and an API token in Settings → Integrations. The token stays in this Mac's Keychain and is never synced.

See what is assigned to you

Open Jira in the sidebar's Workspace section to list your issues, most recently updated first, with a details panel for the selected issue.

Start the branch from the issue

Commit+ suggests a name from the issue key and summary, such as PROJ-123-fix-login-crash, and starts a plain branch or the matching Git Flow topic.

Focus on this sprint.

Filter by Open Sprints, the backlog, or a specific sprint, then narrow by status, project, and issue type. Search by summary, or type a full key such as PROJ-123 to jump straight to that issue.

The right branch type, by default.

With Git Flow set up, bugs and defects start a bugfix topic and other issues start a feature. Choose a hotfix or a plain branch instead whenever you need to. You can also open the issue in Jira or copy its key and summary.
